Team Colors: Maize Crayola, Black, Coffee
The team chose a palette of maize crayola, black, and coffee for the color scheme of the Tulsa Roughnecks. The combination of these colors are symbolic of the traditional colors that roughnecks wore. The yellow color (maize crayola) is inspired by the Golden Driller statue that the city of Tulsa is proud of.
Team Logo:
The Roughnecks logo features a picture of the Golden Driller's face and "Roughnecks" around the top of him. The logo follows the color scheme of the team and effectively shows our mascot and team name. The logo is simple and easily recognizable by fans.
Mascot: The Golden Driller
We chose the Golden Driller because it represents a strong oil driller and has a strong connection to the Tulsa area. The Golden Driller has also had many brand advertisements in the past which would open up opportunities for us in the future.
